Individual Insurance:
 
Changes to our Simplified Issue products COMING SOON!
 
Introducing Platinum Protection and Golden Protection Elite to our Simplified Issue line-up.

Effective July 5, 2021, Platinum Protection and Golden Protection Elite products will be joining our Simplified Issue line-up. They will be available on Lia, our electronic application platform.

Key features include:
  • Competitive premiums for clients 40 years and older
  • Ideal for healthy clients or those with a stable medical history (the majority of medical conditions falling under 5+ years)
  • Whole Life up to age 85
  • Coverage is immediate (no waiting period)
  • 20-pay and life pay options
  • A competitive FYC with a lifetime renewal commission

Our No Medical Insurance suite of products will no longer be available as of July 2
Please ensure that your No Medical Insurance applications are submitted in Lia before 6 p.m. (EST) Friday, July 2, 2021, no exceptions will be made.
Discontinued products include:
  • No Medical Whole Life
  • No Medical Term
  • No Medical Whole Life Plus
  • No Medical Term Plus
 
 
Lia Update scheduled for July 4
Please note that your saved applications will be preserved so long that they are not part of the discontinued products mentioned above.

You will not be able to submit applications during the following period:

DATE: Sunday, July 4, 2021   TIME: 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. (EST)

Following this update, you will be required to download Version 11 the next time you connect to the Lia application.

Group Insurance:
 
Do you have groups that have experienced a significant increase in insured members?
If so, they could be eligible for an increase in maximum coverage amounts for their pooled benefits.

Effective immediately when your clients request an increase in their non-evidence maximum amount for pooled benefit, we will increase the amount of coverage based on the egilibility of the group.

Not only will we increase non-evidence amounts for members who have not asked to previously increase their amounts, we will also increase the amount for members who may have been declined by medical underwriting in the past.
